A super PAC aimed at electing Republican women is launching a six-figure ad campaign to support Stephanie Bice, the GOP candidate in Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District.
The Hill noted that the Winning for Women Action Fund’s support for Bice came just days after she defeated Republican Terry Neese in the district’s runoff. Bice, a state senator, had the backing of the National Rifle Association and former presidential candidate Rick Santorum in the race.
She now faces Rep. Kendra Horn, a Democrat, in November.
“Stephanie will be an honest and transparent representative for her district in Washington and will give her constituents the voice they deserve,” Winning for Women said in a statement. “There’s no time to waste to help her get there.”
As part of the ad buy, the PAC released a digital ad in support of Bice.
The 30-second spot touts Bice’s record and says: “Stephanie Bice. Mother, Businesswoman. Effective Conservative, who gets the job done. In Oklahoma, Bice took on the establishment and the special interests and won.
“It’s time for a fighter who shares our values. It’s time for Stephanie Bice.”
