In this episode, I spoke with one of my favorite guests, Kerry Slone, founder of We The Females and “Stilettos & Shotguns” YouTube channel. Her mission is to get women to understand the importance of the right to defend themselves, and she teaches classes on self-defense and gun ownership. Slone is a fierce advocate for Second Amendment rights and was a vocal opponent of a Washington law that would make domestic violence victims vulnerable to their attackers. Hers is an incredible story of survival and overcoming trauma in a healthy way.
Slone also had some things to say about being a woman in the 2A community, and some of the issues in the pro-gun rights movement. It was a wild and crazy conversation, so let me know what you think!
