Rep. Brian Mast Just Mic Drops Fanatical Pro-Ceasefire Code Pinker – RedState

No matter how much I might disagree with a person, I am unlikely to call that person a “heartless monster” and/or “terrorist,” especially when that person happens to be a United States combat veteran.

Rep. Brian Mast (R-Fla.) is a U.S. Army combat veteran, having served in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Stepping on an IED in September 2010 “as he cleared a lane for Rangers during an attack in the Arghandab District of Kandahar” cost him both legs. In January 2015 he volunteered with the IDF, and was stationed just outside of Tel Aviv, “where he packed medical kits and moved supplies around, including some heavy lifting.”

The Michigan-born Mast, who has received multiple medals including the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal for Valor, was headed to work in Congress recently when he was approached by a fanatical member of the radical anti-Israel group Code Pink.

The woman proceeded to say to him “I imagine you’re not going to vote [for a] ceasefire.”

Mast responded, “Absolutely not.”

What followed was an unhinged rant, with the woman yelling about how she pays taxes and that her money should go to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which has been exposed as little more than a front group for Hamas terrorists, with some members taking part in the October 7th terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.

When Mast told the woman he would make sure that no tax dollars went to funding UNRWA, she went even more off the rails, calling him a “liar” who was “full of sh*t” – a “f**king heartless liar,” the latter of which earned her a warning from someone who was presumably part of security.

Later, she accused Mast of being a “heartless man,” saying he “lost his heart somewhere.”

That got Mast to look her straight in the eye and ask her “Do you know where we stand on terrorists?”

After appearing befuddled for a few seconds, the woman then told him he was a terrorist.

Mast asked the question a second time and responded before she had a chance to say anything.

“We stand on their necks,” he told her before walking away.

It was a true mic drop moment if there ever was one.

Watch the video all the way to the end. It’s awesome:

Code Pink agitators have become a daily fixture at the Capitol building, with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) facing off with them as well back in February when one keffiyeh-wearing Useful Idiot poured on the hysterics in hopes of getting Hawley to lose his cool.

He didn’t. Instead, Hawley calmly told the woman in no uncertain terms that there shouldn’t be any type of “ceasefire” from Israel until the Hamas terrorist organization was eliminated.

At one point toward the end of the heated exchange, Hawley called the ranting woman antisemitic and “pro-terrorist,” saying if things went the way she wanted them to there would be another Holocaust before walking away, which she didn’t like very much.

The way to deal with these snowflakes is just like Mast and Hawley did. Don’t waste much time humoring them; just tell it like it is, call out the foolishness, and move on.   Because not only is it the right thing to do, but it also makes for some awesome videos, too.
