Senators were given a closed-door briefing on Tuesday on the three “objects” that were shot down over the U.S. and Canada over the weekend.
While many of the Senators were limited in what they could say because the meeting was classified, senators on both sides of the aisle said that the Biden team should make the information known to the American people. Both sides called for more transparency from the Biden team.
“There is a lot of information presented to us this morning that could be told to the American people without any harm to sources or methods or national security,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) said.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) said that Joe Biden owed the American people an explanation. He said Justin Trudeau has spoken to Canadians and “surely” we’re not in a situation where Trudeau is a “more decisive and forceful leader” than Biden, Cotton said.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly where we are. While White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claims that Joe Biden is the “best communicator” the White House has, he’s missing and can’t be found. The reason? Because they’re likely afraid that if he’s asked about aliens he’ll say something that will get them in trouble or something else ridiculous.
The person who seemed to offer the most information about the briefing was Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). Kennedy said up until a couple of weeks ago he was given the impression that this was a new thing. He said the briefing made clear to him that this has been going on for “many years,” since at least 2017.
“Many people, intentionally or otherwise, have been given the impression that[until] a couple weeks ago, our skies were clear, and then all of a sudden we have spy balloons and other unidentified flying objects raining down on us like confetti,” Kennedy said. “That’s not accurate. These objects have been flying over us for years, many years.” He said, “They’ve known about them” meaning I guess whoever briefed them indicated they knew, but that except for the Chinese spy balloon, they didn’t know what they were. What’s different about the last two weeks is that we started shooting them down, he exclaimed.
Kennedy continued, noting that the Biden team is unable to find the remnants of the three “objects” they allegedly shot down, all they can find is the remnants of the Chinese spy balloon. “They’re lost. They can’t find them. The remnants are in very difficult terrain,” he explained.
NEW: Sen. John Kennedy says the U.S. government “can’t find the remnants” of the objects that were recently shot down.

Kennedy declared it was clear it was “not a recent phenomenon.” He said the administration did not explain why they were shooting them down now. A reporter asked if it was a “wagging of the dog” situation (to make Biden look better). That’s very likely what it is, that shooting down whatever they are, in the backlash of Biden’s bad handling of the Chinese spy balloon, would make him look tougher. Kennedy wasn’t quite going there but he said, “We need more transparency…now that this cow is out of the barn.”
💥 Sen. John Kennedy on the Senate’s briefing
“This has been going on for a long time… & we don’t know what most of them are”
“The President & the DNI… need to explain… what these things are, who put them up there & do they pose a threat”

Kennedy said Joe Biden and the Director of National Intelligence needed to explain to the American people what these things were — if they knew — who put them up there and if the objects pose a threat, “and if the answer is no, how do they know that?” And if they know they’re not a threat, then what are they and why are they now firing missiles at them?
“The only thing I feel confident saying right now is that if you are confused, you understand the situation perfectly,” Kennedy explained.
That last is very clear as we seem to be getting fed all kinds of things by the Biden team, some of it conflicting. The claim now that they’ve known about this for years, seems to conflict with what they previously said about just finding out about incursions based on new intel unless that’s only about spy balloons. I’m not sure we can believe anything they say at this point. So what Kennedy said about the confusion here is right on the money — they need to provide us with answers, and swiftly. But Joe Biden is still hiding out and ducking the question.
